One of those thoughts I just had wake me up in the middle of the night:

If we used the IMAP/EMAP algorithm, told the system to use the Baro as the EMAP and then we were allowed to use negative values in the VE and ignition Y-axis we would essentially have similar VE and Ign control as Haltech with KPA delta from atmosphere. It could also be a bit more consistent for altitude tuning and baro fuel add table if atmosphere was 0 in the VE no matter the KPA.

Kind of, I'm currently experimenting with a -1bar/+1bar PSIg pressure transducer as a MAP sensor thus maintaining 100kpa for atmosphere no matter the elevation. So far I'm seeing positive results but still need to put it through more operating conditions at different elevations before committing. It's been really nice utilizing the full range and targeting the same cells of the VE, timing and target afr tables at all altitudes
