Should I be able to pair an Android tablet when plugged into my laptop or will it need to be hooked up to independent power?

Do you want to pair your tablet with your speeduino, while the tablet is connected to your laptop?
Or pair your tablet with your laptop?

The only reason I tried this way is that the NO2C isn’t installed yet and I don’t have any other way to power it than plug in the USB. I’m just curious if I was wasting my time stressing over it not being discoverable. Thanks
