I'd not noticed you can't set more than 2 squirts with 2 cylinders. I wonder why.
Definitely you want wasted spark - single channel depends on a distributor to route 1 spark per cycle to each cylinder.
I think I've read that the VW coil packs need a different resistance to allow the current they need, but that wouldn't give you your startup lottery.
I can't help thinking we're all missing something. Can you share your tune please?
Also, where is your trigger wheel? on the crank or flywheel? or ...?

Important information, I do not have a camshaft sensor. Only the hall crankshaft position sensor.

My injector port type setting, rather than the throttle body, may make a big difference...?
Can it cause the code to work incorrectly?

Does the "Port" setting use INJ1 and INJ2 alternately or simultaneously?
I only use INJ1
