Hey guys,

Do you know if there is a solution to drive a DC idle motor?
My setup use a Bosch Mono-Motronic TBI, a setup used in the 90s on FIAT, Renault, BMW, VW Golf mk3 etc.

...or can you recomand me an alternative to the DC motor or the TBI?

Thank you!

Something similar was used on the motronics that later replaced it. First little movement of the throttle was with a DC motor basically drive by wire, rest was with the mechanical cable from the pedal. For motronics we usually recommend just adding an external bosch PWM valve like the one off an audi 80 or the E46(it's a very common valve with many slight physical variants so just sort by price). Since this has the injector above the throttle, I'm not sure if it has enough of a gap to flow enough mix at idle. You may need to add a end stop screw or drill a small hole into the throttle blade. I would adjust it to about 400-650rpm with the idle valve shut.
