Ok lets see if I have this right now. So I do not want to use the distributor, so can use the dual wheel trigger mode.
The CYL posn sensor logs the 24 tooth wheel therefore there are 24 pulses for a complete crank cycle.
The TDC signal is when each cylinder is at TDC which occurs 4 times every 24 CRK pulses or one crank cycle.
The CRK signal is #1 cam position (closed on compression stroke)?
I have found a link to a Vtec site site that says the TDC angle is 445
http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/in ... l?vtec.htm
Does that mean that in the trigger setup in Speedy (and using the Vtec sensors in the distributor), the trigger angle is set to 445 and therefore reference to tooth #1 (the CYL posn tooth after the CRK signal) that ignition occurs at that angle?
I want to run COP but with this trigger setup I have a sequential trigger right? Can my spark settings in speedy be sequential?
AND the sensors inputs I need (Via 2 x VR conditioners) are CYL posn and CRK where CRK is actually the CAM input to Speedy?
I feel like I am missing something as for the time interval between each time the cam is on the compression stroke for cylinder #1, shouldn't there be 8 TDC pulses (compression and exhaust for each cylinder)?
