Any general discussion around the firmware, what is does, how it does it etc.

Hey, guys !

I am developing (yes, from beginning) a light EFI for single cylinders engines, based on arduino MEGA, like a speeduino, but simplified, but i have some doubts.

How better form to read the trigger wheel ? Crank Angle ? tooth counting ? how do both (programing - i 'm new to this :( ) ? wich have more precision ?

How to separate the phases to open injector and fire the ignition ?

Wich the math functions use for this ? For that and for the calculate the time to injection and time to fire the ignition.

I'm using the folowing sensors and actuators:

MAP, Hall for trigger wheel, Air temperature, O2 sensor, Fuel Injector and Coil ignition.

matheus5019,
About the trigger thing, I think it is already worked out in a decent way.
If you want to know how check the firmware.
For development, check the Slack chat channel, link at the top of this forum page.

Only thing for a 1 cylinder EFI system is to get it down to a small form factor.
So you need to come up whit something smaller than an Arduino atmega and the NO2C.
