Is it normal, that i cannot update firmware without using isp? Even powered with 12v on the input pins, and i have tunerstudio connection, it will not update unless i use isp.

I had the same issue. There is no bootloader on the controller. You can fix it.
There is an older .hex called "BLxxxx with bootloader". Load this first.
Than the Speedy Loader works fine.

I have uploaded firmware 202501 to github and there is also a file with the bootloader included.

Another possibility would be to flash first the plein bootloader with the arduino IDE or any tool of your choice and then upload the desired Firmware with speedyloader. Please avoid firmware versions until 202402.1, there was a bug in the pin definition (Boost Pin was wrong).
From 202402.2 and newer this issue was corrected in the official speeduino firmware.
