It is, in both TS and MLV. MAPdot is viewable real-time in TS as a configurable gauge (img1) or in the AE tuning screen (img2). MAPdot is logged, but as two channels — MAP and Time. The two values are calculated to arrive at MAPdot. To see it in a MLV log view, select Calculated Fields > Optional Fields > MAPdot (img3). MAPdot will now be available to select in the fields. A restart may be required.

Speeduino, TS and MLV background interaction is complicated and not my wheelhouse. I'm glad you brought it up, as there are several things mot meshing between the two programs and Speeduino, such as the inability to open the tune file in MLV and see the Spark or AFR tables, while the VE table displays but does not interact properly. :? It's tough to coordinate tuning with these and other function failures, so if anyone has a fix please speak up!

You are probably using the free version? Did you try the Optional fields in MLV?

I need to bring this up again.
My engine has no TPS (and I don't plan on installing) and hence I run MAP only. However the MAPdot is always sitting at 0 and conesquently the AE is also sitting at 0 giving me sh... responsiveness in lower rpms.

I have looked at the code, checked the ini and really can't see any reason why that is. Here's my configuration:

When looking at the calculated field in MLV, it calculates MAPdot just fine, but the ECU always sees 0

I think the first mapdot value in the table should be the same as mapdot threshold, so I'd change the threshold to match the first value of 10.

Is the problem @bugster_de with AE below 1000 rpm, as per thread title?

remember MAP is sampled via a user specified algorithm and I think that will have quite an effect on mapdot at low RPM.
