I would discourage deleting posts. You can contact the Admin to delete it entirely. However, I would ask that you instead either edit the post or add another with info to help others. For example, if asking for info and you found it before anyone replied, just add the info you found so others searching for the same info later get the benefit of your effort. You did the work, and might as well help others with it.
