I am not getting any spark. I know I am missing something and am very new to this type of engine management so
any help is welcome.
I am using TunerStudios MS lite to program and monitor the Speedunino controler I built for my corvair.

A little background. I think the Speeduino is working I have managed to get the throttle body position sensor
to work as far as seeing the correct movement on the display as I move the throttle. This tells me I am at least
talking to the Speeduino . When I crank the engine over I get know RPM shown on the display First clue maybe.
I am using a Dorman 36 ignition pulse ring with a Jeep crank position sensor. In the Tuner studio software,
there is a settings for the number of teeth. I put in 36..... The ring has 35 with one missing. Is that correct?

Is there a way to test the crank position sensor to see if it is working? Maybe it is bad.

No sure that logger is available in the unpaid version.
Did you download a base tune, or just key in values to TS? You need a base tune. Search for SpeedyLoader.
For a 36-1 wheel, did you set missing teeth to 1 ?

Is the Jeep sensor a second-hand one? Does it have two wires or three? Is your Speeduino equipped with the VR conditioner?

You should be able to wave a wrench past the crank sensor and get some kind of erratic response on TunerStudio if the circuit is setup and working properly.

Your previous posts asked about using a Ford six-cylinder EDIS ignition coil that requires an external ignitor. What did you do end up going about that?

Sounds like a 36-1 wheel. First step is to get an rpm reading while cranking. Review that wiring, and ensure your connections are correct. A problem with saying "Jeep sensor" is that they used both VR and Hall sensors in various years and engine models. To give good advice, we need to know if it is a VR sensor (3-pin +, -, and ground pin for shield, usually with a small metal pin on the sensor reading face); or the Hall type (3-pin, +, GND, and Signal, smooth face). I don't know the pin order offhand.

Each is handled differently in setup and wiring. Let us know what you're working with and we can go from there. Issues are usually simple... once you know how to find them. ;)
