Evening,
Trying to smooth cranking and starting phase of my engine, I'm facing some strange behaviors with Idle valve settings.
Info : PWN open loop and 160Hz valve frequency.
1. Currently my engine start at low RPM (950 rpm), and after a sec or two, goes up to 2000 rpm then goes back to low idle rpm around 950.
My stock ECU starts engine close to 2000 rpm then goes down to 950 rpm just after started without the 1-2 sec delay to control the idle valve.
2. Trying to remove this 1-2 sec delay just after starting the engine to match my stock ECU, in idle settings there is a "run before start" check box.
According to tips : should open idle valve before cranking to avoid this delay and help starting to flow more air.
But when I tick this option and power the ECU my fuel pump doesn't stop, idle valve move back and forth and injectors don't stop priming.
I think there is something I'm doing wrong, can you provide me some clue ?
