Does anyone know the drive capability of the programmable outputs please. I can't see it in the manual.

I assume it is low level and will need relays/FET's ?

Thanks

The drive limit is dependent on which board you are using?
For instance On a vo4 board with the uln fitted there are low and medium current outputs ,0.5a low and 2a ish for medium ( the drivers are same as injectors or vvt/idle).

Thanks. I bought the UA4C Seafox ECU. It has 4 'low current' outputs.

I see from your project list you are working on a gearbox controller?

I am as well.

I have a classic Mini body shell with a 1.8l Turbo Vtec AWD setup I'm building. I've got the code running gearbox linear actuators. I'm just running through the change up/down part of the code with fuel/spark cut options. Not sure which way to go yet.

The designer of the ua4c says the outputs are rated at about 1amp . Hope that helps

The UA4C Seafox schematics (here) spec the TBD62083AFWG 8-channel power switch. The datasheet from Toshiba is here, stating 500mA (½A) maximum per-channel.

However, more than one channel can be paralleled for more capacity with a simple solder jump, e.g., LC1, LC2 and LC3 could be combined for 1.5A capacity. ;) The individual outputs are indicated for low-loads such as Tachometer, and relay actuation such as Fuel Pump and Fan. Other uses are many, such as shift lights or other circuit grounding tasks. Good luck!
