I do not suggest emulating or transferring a tune or data from another source. Spend the most time reviewing Speeduino settings to match your vehicle configuration. All the settings.

Converting other system data uses a lot of time, and can be anywhere from close to (usually) horrible. Either way it's not right, and needs to be tuned for your setup and fuel on your engine. I suggest skipping all that effort and just get it running using the TS tools available, or rough wedge tables. Turn off all features not required to run the engine, so they don't fight you.

Started and just barely running is OK if you can get it warmed-up. Then dial-in what the engine wants at whatever speed it's running; e.g., more fuel, less fuel... pretty good. Reduce rpm and do it again. In a few minutes your idle and high-idle are quite close and it's idling happy. Repeat for slightly higher speeds and loads. Note we have not and will not go near wide-open for a while yet.

Soon, you have a set of tables that run pretty well and are drivable for more tuning and tweaking. Log everything, and review to see how your changes affect the engine, learning to 'see' what the engine 'likes' or not. So much faster and better than trying to copy other references, that could be very wrong and will never be "right". I sincerely hope that helps.

Not wanting to take this off topic, but the tune I have is for a slight variant of my engine, I have 1.9 lite and map is 2 litre, same head / valves etc.

Most interested in conventions and principally getting it started. Then I will follow the recommended path .A friend of mine used it to get another 8 valve variant started (on another Haltech) and is running now. I was most impressed in how easily it started once we sorted crank angle.

I am extremely grateful for the input and the info on logic transition in this post was informative.
