Just a thought, in some installations it would be nice to have 4 inputs and no CAN. could this be done via configuration??

That's nylon SLS from JLC. I've been really happy with the quality.
I get MJF parts from them at work frequently and they look just as good.

It would be a bit difficult with this design.
The CAN transceiver could be removed and some jumpers added but that would be raw inputs to the MCU.
The other inputs have protections built in.

If it's a switch or something they could easily be added with my CANBoard.
