ordering the bom for a 2.1 M40 assembly i just realize that MPX4250AP-ND map sensor is no longer available...
is any well known substitute?

vnld 5300-e or vnld 5300tr-e?

right now, with the m40 2.1 bom at least, we are going to have problem with

VNLD5090TR-E
MPX4250AP
LM2940T-5.0/NOPB

The *-E and *-TR-E are just packaging (tray, tube, tape & reel, etc). That info is listed in the datasheets for the device.

Thank you very much! I have welded these components. But I have a question about the jumpers.

The PCB have printed on the back a jumper configuration for a M4X: JP31:2-3, JP21:1-2, JP22:2-3 and JP4:2-3, but this txt https://github.com/pazi88/Speeduino-M5x ... ations.txt don't show the jumper JP31:2-3

At the end of text I can read that this jumper is only for hall sensor, it is correct? I welded a vr-conditioner and I don't need to weld it.

J31 are for hall sensor..

My first tests with stock VR with osciloscope i see some "noise" and false triggers on cam using speeduino VR Conditioner board.. i will use hall sensors because are more accurate. (problem isn't max9926 but default configurations without adjust of threshold)

pazi88 i have some ideas for PCB, ecu from my 1999 e36 is bms43 (middle motronic 1.7.x and BMS46)

This is my speed based on pazi88 great work!!

I have tested with original VR sensors and VR Conditioner but doens't look very reliable on CAM tooth (only 1), i am pretty sure the problem was basic circuit used on conditioner board, tested with some resistors and seems cleaned signal.. but.. i have swap engine (M43B16 to M43B19TU) that uses hall sensors, now i am using stock ecu with stock VR sensors.

i have a e36 from 1999 that uses BMS43 ecu, as i know, it is some "inventionª between siemens and bosch. it has sequential injection, traction control (via CAN), 3 wire icv. Using pazi88 board i have to cut wire between pins 85 and 86, they are used for can communication with abs, AC circuit was modified too, arduino firmware controls AC behavior, maybe i will use VVT circuit to control purge/canister valve

The green board have IC 4050 (hex buffer) that i am using for input signals (VSS, AC signal, maps switch), it powered with 5v and input signals can be up to 15v that output will be 5v (because Vcc is 5v).

On first test, i notice that abs checks for ecu ªpresenceª and disable traction control if it not found, i will sniffer that communication to try fool abs to not disable TC

Initial adjusts, idle, sensors..

AC looks good (after correct pull down to pull up resistor)
https://youtu.be/bTfVWAd1yaU

Weird thing.. maybe the CLT has wrong calibration data (selected clt from E30 on tunerstudio), but when fan kicks, the temperature still going up. i am not sure if stock ecu uses "high speed" or "low speed", on schematic (didn't find correct model) i only see "AC fan coolant engine" on pin 46 and "dual temperature switch 80/88" on pin 62 but it has mechanical switch on top of radiator for turning on fan at high speed and low speed

Here is fix for the M60 pnp. For few years (from 1.4 to 2.2 board) every m60 had wiring problem with grounds on speeduino, so finally i got time to test things on board instead of adding one ground in engine wiring. CTL, IAT, TPS share common ground with knock sensors, so 71pin on ecu needs to be grounded. Pin 17 is cam vr2+ and Pin 44 is cam vr2- (v2r- fits 2.2 board). I know cam is useless (now) for speeduino, but in future we may see pnp sequential board for those of us that run turbocharged m60's (or m62/n62 with m60 wiring)

So what needs to be fixed for PnP M60 (B40)
Ecu Pin 71 -> GND
Ecu Pin 17 -> Cam VR2+ (you can bridge pin 1 with pin 3 in JP31 (or bridge all 3 pins together if you don't use R40 and R60 resistors)) in existing boards, also JP3 needs to be connected to get out2 from vr conditioner to arduino pin)
