Help with building your Speeduino, installing it, getting it to run etc.

I think most people power Speeduino, injectors and coil only with ignition on. Speeduino assumes that - e.g. fuel pump and injector priming happen when speeduino powers up.
Its not windows - you don't have to worry about how long it takes. :)

Looks OK offhand, but keep in-mind the coil order is based on IGN channel output number to coil pin number. It's not a problem, but verify the coil order you want to use, and wire your plugs (or your IGN outputs) accordingly. As-shown it appears Speeduino IGN1>driver pin2, IGN2>driver pin4, IGN3>driver pin3, if plug wires are used on coils as-numbered.

How heat sensitive are those coils? Is this exhaust side too hot? Another option is below the battery tray, but in that case the coil will be even closer to the exhaust. The coil is quite big and heavy, not an easy task to find a place for it.

Heat is always the enemy. That position could work OK, but I would add some bottom plate extension to the tray to protect from direct heat. I see you have the factory exhaust heat shields. I would consider a bracket bolted to those holes on the valve cover, so the direct heat is minimized, or shielded forward of the shock tower. Yeah, it is difficult sometimes. Do what you can and move-on. If it's a problem, it will let you know.

I ended up with this kind of construction.

Crank position sensor wire needs some extension, since the wire is quite short. Is ordinary wire good enough or should it also be shielded?

According to the Speeduino manual the coil and the injectors need switched positive 12V. Is there any reason to use separate relays or will just one relay do the job?

One relay for both is fine, and about 33A max load at max rpm. No problem, as switching is the load-limit issue, and there's nothing loading it when switched on with engine off, or very low load switching off at idle. You can switch the relay with the key, or anything else that switches with the key, e.g., Main relay.

Injector wiring diagram in the manual has two 5A fuses, one for injectors 1-3 and another for 4-6. What's the point? Is one 10A fuse ok?

I have 3-pin connector in my "Bosch" ICV. How to wire it correctly?

I decided to use separate relays for injectors, ignition and fuel pump. Cheap stuff and a bit easier to test those independently.

Wiring harnesses with power feeds are commonly "branched" like a tree, with larger supply wires connecting to multiple smaller component feed wires, i.e., injectors or coils. The fuses protect the wiring (not the component), and if it has to protect the smallest wires effectively, it is often more effective to fuse at branches.

3-pin Bosch barrel valves are usually wired Idle-PWR-Idle2, but check your valve's pin-out. Idle and Idle2 act as an opposing push-pull pair.

Slowly... slowly... the wiring harness is getting ready.

At this point the question is how to power the Spartan 2 WB correctly?

From the manual:

"Do not install the Lambda Sensor in such a manner that the unit is powered before your engine is running."

Hmm... How to achive that functionality?
