Any strange behaviour, crashing issues etc, post them here! Problems compiling the firmware should go in the General support section rather than here

Hello,

Im still new in Speeduino community, these are my first trials so sorry for newbie question

Im using Speeduino PnP for Miata 2001-2005, wasted spark, sequential injection, FW 202207.1 (latest i think). I noticed - fortunately on the bench, not engine in the car ;) - following issue:

- in EngineProtection->RevLimiters Soft rev limiter works properly. Spark advance comes to set value for instance 0deg, but HardLimiter does nothing except giving red light HardLimit ON in Tunerstudio. Both spark and injector outputs are still active

- in EngineProtection Common setting works properly

I set for example
- Soft limiter 3500rpm 0deg
- Hard limiter 4000rpm
- Hard Limiter common 4500rpm

and situation seen using ArduStim is
- above 3500rpm advance comes to 0deg for few seconds and SoftLimiter ON appears (OK)

- above 4000rpm HardLimiter ON appears but nothing more (WRONG)

- above 4500rpm injectors and spark outputs are cut (OK)

When requesting assistance, please post 1) your tune file, and 2) a log that shows the issue, using that exact tune (zero changes). A ZIP file is convenient. If you make tune changes to demonstrate something else, again post a new pair of files with appropriate file names. 8-)

solution is:
- set Engine Protection RPM min rather low like 3500 rpm

This is main switch for all limiters

then
Protection->RevLimiters->Fixed and desired rpm cut for instance 7000rpm
