Hi all,
First off, I can't believe how great speeduino is. I have never installed and tuned an EMS before and I got the car running rather quickly. A little idle tuning and some accel enrichment tuning and it will be perfect!! Hats off to everyone that contributed to the project.
My issue. I have a 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata engine and cluster. The tach is driven by the stock ECU. I measured the output of the stock ECU and it looked like a 5v square wave. So I scraped the 12v tracer on the UA4C and soldered the 5v pads together.
I am assuming this is not right because the tach doesn't work. I did a bunch of searching and I can't find anything about how to get the tach on a UA4C to work with an NB2 Miata. Does anyone know how?
