For anything related to the 'official' Speeduino boards (Eg v0.3, v0.4 etc)

Afternoon,

So I'm trying to figure this out and my poor little chimp brain has resorted to flinging poo.

I have a 0.4.4c smd version board and I want to use pins 29(fan), 31(fuel pump), 33(tacho out) and 35(clutch input) but I'm confused with the "proto connector link" that seems that seems to be something to do with these pins but I can't seem to find anything out about this.

I think, I don't need to concern myself with the proto link and just use the pins as intended,

can someone advise?

Thanks

Correct, you only need mess around if you want to override the default action of those connections and use them for some circuit you constructed in the proto area. You would then sever the jumper for that pin (disconnecting the default circuit) and run a jumper wire from the proto area to the PCL for that pin.
