Any general discussion around the firmware, what is does, how it does it etc.

Hi, I am going to be starting a boosted vortec 4200 build that had a GM 7X wheel on it.
I would like to run sequential on it as I am going to add a individual EGT sensor per runner to trim each cylinder.
Looking online a bit it looks like the 4200 has been attempted before, but the trigger setting were not working correctly?

Also looking at the code, there is nothing for the secondary trigger input, which I would need to get a 720 degree trigger.

Should I continue down the path of using the stock trigger setup or would it make more sense to just switch to a different custom wheel?

The vortec 4200 does have a cam wheel (see attached pattern) so that should be able to make it work?

There is no secondary (cam) trigger implemented for GM7X in Speeduino. Only crank trigger. So grinding off tooth from that doesn't help. I didn't even know that GM7X has cam trigger wheel because only knowledge I can have found about it, includes only the crank trigger wheel.

If I switch to a 36-1 crank wheel and single tooth cam wheel, does it matter where the cam tooth is located in the cycle? Does it have to be at TDC #1?
