Just looking at the MPX4250 pdf it looks like it's possible to bend the legs closer to the body. If you need 3mm more board space I can make a shorter one.

New version looks good! Not desperate for board space currently, so not big deal on the shorter pins. I'll do an initial run of these and see how they work out, might to up on it then :D

Thanks again!

I checked the Gerbers and they look ok, but I didn't check the actual hole spacing dimensions. Maybe latter.

EDIT - I meant that the dimensions are right on the svg drawing, because I drew that all by hand, just that I haven't checked the dimensions in drill.txt. It has the correct number of holes a sizes in drill.txt, it's just that I haven't done the math to confirm them.

I used 4.2mm holes rather than the drawings 4.5mm to match the other parts,

Ohhh, except I just installed it and it asked me to 'Update' all my parts. When I did this I got the old versions of the Denso connector and the 4250 that don't have holes in them

Apparently there's meant to be a fairly simple parts updater system now though, so maybe getting the new versions in won't be too painful?

Wow.
I was talking to the Fritzing guy and he's very interested in your Speeduino.

By accident I did a 48P search on e14 and just found another TE Con 48 pin plug that is half the price of the TE Connectors_316370-6_040_II SRS_MK-II_48Pin_CAP-ASSY. I don't know if 1mm pins are enough.

I was looking for the Denso at e14, because it's local, and this is the first thing that came up - I haven't researched it further - so maybe a general 48P search might find something better.

I posted it at Fritz the same time I posted it here, 1 month ago. I don't know how long it takes for a new part to come through FZ, but it hasn't been added yet.

I couldn't wait for the auto part update so I edited the new PCB svg into the old part inside V0.9.3. I should've changed the part ID so it's easier to add, but didn't know V0.9.3 existed and that they would add it.

The manual hack is ;-
Unpack the new part by changing the extension from .fzpz to .zip, so you can get to the PCB svg - the new svg has black holes -.
Save the internal old part in V0.9.3 as a new part.
Edit the saved part and load in the unpacked PCB svg to the PCB view - Edit Parts/PCB/Load image for view -.
I can remember if I had to reassign the contacts in PCB view edit, so just check they are ok. If you have to reassign, save it half way through incase the program crashes.

If that is too much trouble I can change the ID on the part and send it to you.
