Hello everyone.

There is a system data called "main loops per revolution" in the gauge of TunerStudio.
Anything below 10 is red. Does this mean that the processor is not powerful enough?

The upper limit of an 1100cc 90 degree L-twin Ducati engine is 11000rpm. In the case of the Arduino Mega CPU,
At that time gauge will go below 10 when the rotation speed exceeds 10000rpm.

The attached image uses an STM32 CPU.

Thank you.

My use case is also mostly motorcycles. Target bikes are CRF110, 2008 Aprillia Tuono 1000R V-Twin, Honda CBR954RR, 2017 Husquvarna FS450, 1986 HOnda VFR700 V4 and many more. Also doing a VW boxer engine but that is easy with a standard setup.

There is also an upto 8,000 rpm V8 in the project list.

My current test setup is a NO2C with an Ardu-Stim. Firmware is 2024.02.02

Depending on the number if cylinders, deployment will be NO2C, UA4C or 0.4.4 boards.

The current MPU on the NO2C is a Mega 2560.

The trigger setup is 36-1

With that setup, now on to what I am finding.

The Mega 2560 is topping out at about 9,000 rpm. I had a setup that would make much higher numbers but I don't remember which. Probably the CBR954RR 12 + cam. Anyway.. the 36-1 setup....

At 9,000 rpm the "main loops per revolution" drops into the "red" and pulse ms and duty cycle glitch.

Thank you for the information, jfseaman.

It seems that the red area below 10 on the gauge can be considered to be insufficient performance.

It doesn't seem to be a problem for most cars, but I think caution is needed with high-revving motorcycle engines.

I'm using the STM32_MEGA created by pazi88. The Arduino MEGA is 8MHz, while the STM32 is 168MHz, so the gauge never goes below 100.

Thank you.

Some RTCs work well, some don't. The clock is running fast.
I replaced the MPU and the crystal, but I still can't solve it.
PCBWay is being slow to approve my order.
