Speeduino loses connection to tuner studio after burn#61148

Hi, im having a small issue with my speeduino v4 board. Often , not all of the time tho, when clicking burn, tuner studio will disconnect and i have to reconnect. Engine keeps running fine. Is this a known issue maybe?

Are you using a non-genuine arduino, one with a ch340 communication chip?
If thats the case, its currently a known issue, and a solution is coming. For a field-fix, look at the issue page on speeduino github, Josh posted a quick solution to this issue for now.

Im using a non genuine mega2560 with ATmega16U2 usb chip. I'll look for that fix anyways tho, maybe it will help. Thanks so much

@runesm - I use mostly CH340 Mega boards, and have not had this issue. For me, the CH340 performance has been solid, and overall a bit better (and faster) than most others. Can you describe it and why some apparently do while others don't?

Also, I've noticed that the CP210x and 16U2 have the same issue. Are these related, or is the CH340 unique, or only certain boards, or ... ?

I just made an issue on github, and thats what Josh replied with. Have a look at issue 995.
I tried a small gazillion of cables, couple of arduinos with ch340, and even bluetooth. Same happened. Burn an ignition table, comms hang and drops, reconnects and engine dies. Difference report shows up on reconnect. Running 202207.01
