Sorry the changing between the different trigger setups was just in response to this post.
I switched it from seq to semi just to keep it from being mad about only having the one crank input for basic distributor.

There is an audible change in the idle when I switch between new and old ignition modes. The idle is a bit rougher in new ignition, it drops about 100 rpm. Its when I rev in new ignition mode it feels like I'm pushing against a wall until it backfires.

I'll throw a timing gun on cylinder 6 and see what I can learn. I have been doing the timing with it locked at 0 deg to see the mark pass the indicator.
