Hi, I have designed a hardware distribution of the original Speeduino board v4. It have only the necessary hardware to drive a Ford cvh EFi engine. The engine starts and get synch with TS. The engine runs properly, the problem comes when the inital priming of the fuel pump with the engine stopped.
The pump primes fine but when the pump stops priming the fuel pump relay go crazy and it starts clicking. If I start the engine before the initial priming pump time all is working fine.
A difference between the original Speeduino board and this one is that it doesn't have the Reset Protection circuit(D17, R54, C23).
It also starts clicking if disconnecting or connecting other actuators or sensors (like CKP or coilpack).
I'd try to add the Reset Protection circuit to see if it could solve the problem.
I attach an IEE paper that I wrote describing my custom board.
