I need help... please
So I have a 1990 Miata and trying to get running using speeduino NA 6 PNP. I was having idling issues as expected, but I thought to try and run the fuel pump without Speeduino and did the wire jump at the MAF connecter per the instructions. That was a no go and after undoing the wire jump my fuel pump is always "priming" or stuck on, all the time during key on engine off. Speeduino said there is a risk of "trip the smart FET" what is this? and are my symptoms related? Also as a quick test to see where the issue possibly lies, I reinstalled my OEM Mazda 1.6 ECM and the fuel pump was not stuck on, it primed for 4 seconds and cut off.
