Help with building your Speeduino, installing it, getting it to run etc.

Hello
I have made a pcb with a max9926
does the conversion quite well, at the output it gives me a 5v square signal
but in the tuner studio I don't see the rpm marker moving

I have read that you have to change the two cables that come from the sensor
but it is not detected by the tunerstudio either

attached screenshots of the oscilloscope

Say that I am doing the tests in parallel with the car's ecu working, I have taken some cables in parallel and connect them to the max9926 pcb,

Your 'scope image indicates correct sensor polarity (assuming the probes were attached properly). The MAX is an inverting conditioner, so the correct Trigger Edge setting would be Rising. If you are not seeing an RPM indication, then likely settings or connections are incorrect.

Always post a log and the tune used to take the log. If you posted it in your Google link, please open sharing, as it currently requires a sign-in to see it.

gracias por contestar

thanks for answering

The measurement of the output signal of the max is connected to pin 18 of the arduino, if I do not see that it is detected by tunerstudio, I change it to pin 19 in case it works, but not

I don't want to go ahead with the project until I can see that tunerstudio detects the ckp signal

Your MSQ indicates you are using a v0.4-series PCB. If you look at the connections for that board, Arduino pin 19 (IDC25) is for the crank sensor signal. Pin 18 (IDC24) is for the cycle (cam) signal.

I'm going to mount an arduino uno to see if it detects the signal

where do you see the tunerstudio log?
I have seen that you can see the signals but I can't find where, is it in the paid version?

PSIG does not matter where I put it, the result is the same

theonewithin I don't know what you mean

Tooth log. In Tunerstudio. High speed logging.

Paid feature.

Very useful for troubleshooting VR sensor issues as you can actually see what the ECU is receiving.
