Hi everyone, i bought an Speeduino v0.4 board from Spark EMS in Turkey. I made the connections by looking at the documents of my vehicle's old ecus, everything works but it does not see the crank sensor. My vehicle was Opel omega X20XEV old ecu simtech 56.01. I think the crank sensor I just bought is the hall but I'm not sure. I connected the 1st pin of the crank sensor to 5v, the second pin to 25 on the speeduino, the third pin to the gnd. I've tried a few other different combinations but it just didn't work. I have different sensors but not worked. The LEDs on my card were lightning strongly, but now it started to light weakly. Were the sensors I use VR? Could I have fried the board?

what crank sensor did you buy?

There are ways to check if a sensor is VR or Hall.

If you didn't check and connected a VR sensor and the board was set to Hall you may have caused damage.

Unfortunately there is little we can do to help it any of this as we are not physically there and you are it sounds like you have a physical problem.

I suggest you google about how to check if you have VR or Hall sensor and find out what you actually have.

Then just do not al troubleshooting making sure the signal gets all the way to the arduino.

Did you load the Speeduino base tune?

What version of firmware are you running?

Can you upload your tune and a log?

You have lots to do.

My crank sensor is Lemark LCS230 https://www.worldcarparts.co.uk/cranksh ... ard-lcs230
seller says it is hall. I tried many different combinations of wiring to crankshaft sensor but not working. I tried with hall effect pcb sensor it is not working. I will add video here. How can I find out if the card has been damaged? I have a log file i have saved today when i am trying i will upload here. I don't know the firmware version, the seller uploaded and sent it to the arduino.

Are you using the base tune completely un modified?
if so, you must have a 36-1 trigger wheel, correct?
