Hello People,
I joined a couple years ago. Been lurking and gathering information for a while. Last year, I had a crash and spent some time recovering, then rebuilding.
I have a 550 Spyder(Porsche) replica. It is tube frame, mid-engine. Swing axle trans, beefed up and tall(3.44:1) final drive. Disc brakes all around, Airkewld brand. 4 piston front, single piston rear. Adjustable shocks all around, Koni front, QA1 coilovers in rear on the swingaxle. All up weight is 1476 lbs. with almost full tank and some tools.
Motor is Jake Raby type1 2165cc. 78mm stroke, 94 bore. Balanced and blueprinted, 9.8:1 compression, 1.5:1 Pauter roller rockers, Webcam 86B, Headmaster 44 x 37.5 heads. Dual Weber 44IDF, Megajolt crankfire ignition, 172hp at 6000, 147 ft. lbs. at 3200.
I don't want to split the case, engine runs great and has over 40,000 miles on it. So I'm going batch-fire and wasted spark. Already have a cylinder head temp sender. I also have CB Performance 48mm throttle bodies with injectors and rails. And a fuel pump and regulator. These were taken off my friend's type 4 who had SDS injection, but could never get it to run right, it was either pig-rich or way lean. I really think the SDS is made for airplane guys: steady state and slow load changes. Accel enrichment was very problematic.
The CB throttle bodies have a 5/16" or 3/8" common vacuum tap in each throttle body, so I can do MAP sensor(yes, I'll put in a reservoir, VERY lumpy cam). One throttle body also has a built-in TPS. There is a pressure gauge on one fuel rail and the regulator is adjustable.
I have an Innovate MTX-L gauge and sensor. Question: Can I use the analog voltage output into Speeduino for closed loop O2?
I'm about to order a version 0.3.4 board and get started. I'll need a VR conditioner board, coil driver, and an IAT sensor, but not much else beyond building the ECU and making a harness.
ECU will reside behind passenger seat(where Megajolt currently is). I already have power and a relay board there, and the motor is directly behind the seats so a sort harness. My ignition install already has a Ford VR sensor and TPS.

I think I'm pretty well set. What do you guys think?
