Does fuel timing require a trigger wheel of some kind or can that signal be gotten somewhere else? I am converting this bike from carbs to efi so there is no existing infrastructure for these signals and I am planning on initially only controlling fuel with the speeduino. I built a transistorized ignition module for this motor ages ago and it works just fine using the points as a simple switch. I might expand later to have the speeduino handle ignition too but for now just fuel. My plan at the moment is for each cylinder to have its own throttle body, and its own injector. If it matters this is a parallel twin, both pistons go up and down together.

In this instance the ignition only sees one pulse for both cylinders instead of one for each , can i still use that as a source for fuel trigger?

yes, just increase the number of squirts.
