Ciao!
I'm new here haha and also very confused. Currently I have a cute little Fiat Seicento and I intend on swapping the engine as well as adding forced induction hence why I'm here but man I'm just so lost haha I have no idea how/where to connect the circuit board to!! does I have to buy some cable and run it through my oem ecu like a series circuit? or do I have to wire it to my engine loom? or do I have to individually wire every injector or sensor or whatever else to the board? is it wireless? I appreciate any help haha I read through the manual and watched a few youtube videos so I think I have an idea but I still cant wrap my head around it

welll... basically : some of the wires to your oem ecu are from sensors for it to read and some of them are to injectors and coils and other devices for it to control.
your job is to work out which sensors you want speeduino to use and disconnect them from the oem ecu and connect them to the relevant pin on your speeduino board.
then to disconnect injectors and coils from the oem ecu and connect them to speeduino.
etc.
whether you run new wires or take over the existing wires is up to you.

What engine and ECU do you have right now? I have some plug&plays for a Seicento. Are you looking for a DIY solution or a ready product?

appreciate your response!! totally get it now. just a question but is it possible for me to discard the oem ecu entirely? i imagine there are some things that are better off controlled by the oem ecu or am i able to use speeduino like a standalone ecu

thats sweet! i have a mpi 1108 running stock everything ecu included. i understand that the 1108 and 1242 ecus are interchangeble? can i use your pnp for both engines? i intend on keeping the 1.1 as a spare engine block but thats after like a year when i've sorted out my entire build

You can use it for any engine you'll be able to fit there like 1.2 8V, 1.2 16V, 1.4 16V, 1.4 T-Jet. But 1108 had two different ECUs, small IAW59F and big IAW4AF. This plug&play is only to replace IAW4AF. Which one do you have exactly?

luckily i have the IAW4AF ecu! i want to swap a 1.2 8v from a punto 75 do you know if that has the same ecu as well? from what ive read they generally should but maybe you know better

99% of 1.2 75 Punto MK1 cars have IAW8F single plug ECU. But at the end of production in 1999 Fiat did some changes probably due to stricter emission norms, replaced fuel system to returnless and ECU to IAW49F.D1. That is two plug ECU and it's 99% pin compatibile with IAW4AF. But for the use of Speeduino it doesn't matter. From the mechanical side of things you would have to keep fuel rail and map sensor from Seicento 1.1 MPI and install them on 1.2 75 aluminum intake manifold from Punto. Fuel rail just need some spacers and to install the map sensor you need to drill some holes. Also the aluminum intake manifold from Punto has vacuum output for the servo in the back which will interfere with fan cover in Seicento. You might want to blind that and drill new one on the side. My custom vacuum output for that is visible right under the map sensor.

:o :o :o i appreciate the tips a lot. for the vac output did you drill under and then make a threaded insert or what? that looks very clean. and also, i was thinking of diy'ing my speeduino i was wondering how yours looks very well made haha did you make a custom board and fit your arduino over? but if youre willing it to sell your pnp to me and i can afford it i dont mind that as well

It is threaded yes. I can share the production files for the board or sell assembled ECU. If you're interested in either feel free to write private message.
