hi everyone, i am building my ecu and i would like to know if i could use the transistors from my original ecu to activate the coils and the (low-z) injector (Simple point injection)
Stock injector transistor ST L9150
Stock coil transistor is BU941ZP

Thank you

Either can work, but you really need to review the datasheets for appropriate resistor values. I only looked at the BU for the coil and while it's a Darlington, requires a surprising amount of drive current, and variable for how much your specific coil needs (100 to 300mA typical ). That's OK, as the driver chip will supply that much, but needs attention. The values in your diagram are much too high.

so the best thing to do is to use an external igniter to drive my coils or use coils with an integrated igniter
and for the injector use a series resistor as indicated on the wiki .
I have other questions,
1- how can I wire my evap system ? and can I use my original map sensor ?
2- can I use my original double relay to control the power supply to the sensors and the control unit?

1.) If control is simple and without parameters (controlling data); wire the evap valve to an ECM medium or high-current (HC) output, controlled as a Programmable output in TunerStudio. Some or most evap routines are complicated with multiple inputs and parameters, and are most easily handled separately with a standalone device (Nano or other µC).

1.5) Yes, most analog MAP sensors can be wired as per the Wiki and calibrated. A few cannot (late-model Ford PWM, etc).

2.) Yes. Most of your power wiring could be used without change.

I have turned the IAW16F into Speeduino with built in IGBTs and high Z injector mosfets - the main goal of the project was to use it for swapped MPI engines. I did test it with low Z SPI injector and a series resistor on the bench. I wonder how would that work in a car.

i found igbt in another ecu
20N40CL which looks good to drive my coils
my question is
will they be driven by the IGN-out of the tc4424 ?
If so, are there any other components to add?
ps: i have a 0.4.3d

I took a quick look at the datasheet for the 20N40CL, and it looks like an obsolete but robust unit. Jumper the drive voltage to 5V and everything should work fine with the TC4424 or any similar gate driver. If pairing coils, you will want to jump the output resistor to 0-ohms, and add individual 10 to 15-ohm resistors to each 20N40CL gate to prevent harmonic signal ringing between gates.
