Hi, I'm just about to start building a Speeduino (v0.4) and I just have a question about the Cam and Crank signal inputs.

I have a 1995 1.8 MX5 MK1 and it's currently running on a Megasquirt 1. When I built the Megasquirt, I had to run the Crank sensor input (CKP) to a 12v pullup and the Cam sensor input (CMP) to a 5v pullup.

I've checked through the Speeduino documentation, and it looks like Cam sensor input is connected to pin 24 and Crank sensor input is connected pin 25. The jumpers I'll need to set are: JP2 = Hall, JP3 = Hall, JP4 = On, JP5 = On. Do I need to worry about the original pull ups being 12v for crank and 5v for cam - and is there a way of setting this in Speeduino?

JP4 and JP5 have to be on in order to use the 1k pull up resistors on the 4.3 board

Also if your set up is using the crank and cam sensors not the cas , you will need a VR conditioner.

You may already know this but just trying to save you from tripping up
