Tests in progress, especially Bluetooth at the moment and news are bad...HM-11 is not ok for this project!
Because of the BLE 4.0 stack and firmware , I don't have serial COM emulation under windows, and same kind of issue with Android, i cannot pair...So, impossible to connect to TS or MSdroid.

Anyway I can pair under windows, and with a BLE COM application under Android, I can communicate both ways. (but it's not the purpose.)

Next step: switch to Bluetooth module 2.0/3.0 , probably JDY-30 (the next gen. of HC-05/06), and perform some tests.

I will be following closely, I have a stack of Mega 2560 pro minis that I would like to make use of. Was thinking of making some single inj/ign outputs boards of the same form factor as the pro mini.

More news about final assembly and first test. Here are some pictures from the 3 first ECU. Integration of the LED light guide was a bit tricky, but thanks to solidworks to create paper template!
Also, start playing with engine simulator and TS.

To do list:
- Add hose clips to BARO/MAP sensors
- Solve BT connection issue ( i replace HM-11 BLE with JDY-30 but no more connection to TS. Will switch to HC-05/HC-06 for the next test)
- Add external HARSH USB connector to the enclosure (integration in progress)

I have found SOME bluetooth adapters not working, the fix I have is adding a blocking diode for both bluetooth and usb serial chip TX pin and using a pull up in the ATMEGA TX pin.

Hi Nick,

I think you're right...the TX line is probably pulled down to 0V , instead of being pulled up to 5V on µC side.
Will try your fix and will plug my logic analyser to check in the same time.

Hi Fellows,

I finally switch to HC-06 BT module. After setting the BT module to 115200 baud (and others small stuffs), just pairing under windows , and connexion to TS without issue!
Final steps to do:
-Check the connexion under android with MSDroid
-Check the robustness of both USB and BT connexion (and check my analog switch to open the serial bus to the BT module when USB is plugged)

BTW, no issue with outputs, especially ING and INJ. I checked the outputs with my scope and logic analyser, everything match with TS parameters, using the engine simulator board.

Just wondering how things have gone with this so far. I'm planing an efi swap for my bike this summer and this looks excellent.. is there by chance room for a second vr input. Or maybe 2 square wave from a vr conditioner?
