As the tile says I bought a teensy 3.5 and a mega 2560 adapter shield to run in place of the 2560 shield. Can anyone give some help as to how to load the firmware etc? I searched the forum but could not find any info at all. The adaptor shield is the one Josh has created.

Josh recently updated speedy loader to include teensy as well, so that is the simplest option.
Alternatively you can use the Arduino IDE or platformio.

The firmware is exactly the same as for mega2560 it will compile itself correctly for teensy use.

But depending one what main board your using some ignition channels don't work.
