My idea is to make a board on the DRV8825 footprint with a pull-up resistor and protection to have 3 more digital input.
If a car doesn't use a stepper motor you could install this board on the DRV8825 headers and use the A, A2, and B1 as inputs.
I need some critic I am a noob its my firs time doing a board layout.

I think you will need to also make a few code changes .
You should change the stepper pins for the board you are using to something else that are unused else when you try to use the inputs via auxin they may misbehave or not even work as there will be an assignment clash in the firmware.

Thx for the input, (no pun intended) ;) .
I thought that if the stepper option in TS was not selected that it would be ok. I will go change the inputs it in the code if I try it thx.
