Hi. Does esp32 have enought I/O to be used for transmission control.
I want to have it in combination with stm32 for speeduino engine control.

Esp32 is pretty cheap and powerfull, and i have few layng around.. but they have limited I/O..

You could compare the needed inputs for the transmission that you would like to control with the available I/O on the ESP32. If there is ample I/O, the program would likely need some changes. This appears to be a lot of work to reinvent the wheel.

I don't have any plans on using an esp32 for the firmware used here , the mega onboard MCU has plenty of ability for now , I may update to use a samd21/54 in the future .
