Any general discussion around the firmware, what is does, how it does it etc.

I'm currently in the process of changing only the computer while keeping the Rover Mini 1300SPI in its original condition.

① I am using AutoTune with TunerStudio.
②We use a wideband O2 sensor called 14point7.

Question1. Even though I set it to 14.7 in AFRTable, it actually shows values like 12.0 or 13.0 while idling, which is a problem. Can someone tell me how to solve this?

Question 2. When I press the accelerator hard, it feels sluggish, so when I set the AE, a backfire occurred when the accelerator was fully opened. Could you tell me how to deal with this?

When I open the throttle too much, I hear a strange metallic noise.

Hello Vincent
It may or may not be possible to tune mini-MPI using MAP.
I can only say that it depends on your efforts.
There will always be some kind of problem. All you have to do is predict the problem, think of countermeasures, and take action.

Thanks for your answer.
Maybe I use the word map for another word in French ( I am frog eater! 😜)
I use map for parameters (mapping for me ) as pattern you used, calibration of the temperature sensor and oil sensor if you use the Rover one.
I would like to find data sheet for the sensor without succeded . And for pattern the are 3 in tunerstudio but I don’t find where i can verify witch one correspond to mine (something like 14-2-13-3)
So i try to find someone who have tune a sppzduino for a rover mini (even if it a SPi) to have some of this parameters .
Thanks again
Vincent

Search for guides at EFIAnalytics for information how to use VEA (auto-tune). The settings in VEA strongly affect how, and how well, it works.

While AE adds fuel to prevent lean-out (watch your Lambda/AFR for changes, and fix them with AE), your issue with metallic sound could be related to ignition timing. :?
