I propose to add an output to the lamp check engine. The lamp should light when there are errors.

Iv got a bit of code for this,
So far have CEL on fuel pump prime, Shift light. And Map sanity check (checks between 87 and 107kpa with RPM at 0) is in the works.

You can make the settings.
For example:
min max
MAP 0.10v 4.90v
CLT 0.10v 4.50v
IAT 0.10v 4.50v
TPS 0.10v 4.90v
O2 0.01v 1.05v
Vbatt 8.00v 16.00v

If the value is outside the range min or max.
The error is recorded and the lamp lights up.
