I have a NO2C board running 2024.02.2 firmware, on a simulator.
I have it setup for an 8 cylinder with a distributor and TBI with two injectors simultaneous.
When I setup 4 squirts per engine cycle everything looks fine in tunerstudio , pulse width goes up with the MAP, duty cycle goes up with RPM.
For a TBI V8 engine, 8 squirts per engine cycle seems like the best setting. I think you would want to inject fuel for each cylinder as it fires.

When I change to 8 squirts per engine cycle, the duty cycle in tunerstudio stays a 0.0% no matter what you do. The injector outputs look to be working by the LEDs.
Am I doing something wrong? or have I found a bug?

Two reactions - first is that 8 simultaneous injections of two injectors is 16 individual injections. I'd try alternating, also assuming the manifold is dual-plane(?). Second, there is some goofy data in that log, such as rpm/s, Staged Injector time, etc. :? I would wipe and EEPROM_Clear the processor, load fresh current firmware, start a new TS project, and re-test. Good luck!

I am setting this up for a TBI injected 350 V8 with a distributor, two injectors in the throttle body. What setting do you suggest?
I thought 8 squirts per cycle would give one squirt of both injectors per cylinder firing, which seems logical to me.

You may want to have a clean start and erase the eeprom. you can do this in speedyloader if you scroll to the bottom of the firmware list.
Reload the latest release of firmware. Not the development FW. Then download the generic base tune from SpeedyLoader. EDIT ... I have just done this and it does have the signature you mention.
You will need to recalibrate the sensors.
Possibly, even create another project in TS.

I erased the eeprom reloaded 202310 firmware. made a new TS project, loaded the base tune, and only made changes to the engine constants , and trigger setup.
Still doesn't work right with 8 squirts. Switch back to 4 squirts works fine, switch to 8 stops working.
Everything looks right with 4 squirts.
I have noticed lots of things wrong with 8 squirts. you can see in the attached logs and tunes.
FYI 4 cylinder and 4 squirts works right.

Batt voltage is doubled,
ignition load is zero
fuel load is zero
Baro is doubled
duty cycle is zero
loops per rev is zero
advance is zero
Probably a lot more I am not seeing.
I also tried all this with 20242 same thing.
