Does the trigger angle need to be adjusted even if you just let it idle? Or does it only 'drift' under load?

I think it happens mainly under load, first i thought it was heat related but im quite sure i ruled that out. Maybe i should inspect the harmonic balancer better once again.

That was my first thought too. A screwdriver down the spark hole hole should tell you if your mark is near TDC.
