Am I getting something wrong?
As I can see the AFR table is doing just nothing when EGO corrections(simple or PID) are off.
I can see from source code when pw is calculated no AFR table readings are taken into account.
Also when i change AFR table on idling engine with VE table tuned - just nothing happens.

Is this done intentionally? With that approach You suppose to tune engine incorporating desired AFR into VE table.
I was thinking the goal is to achieve a well done VE table describing a Volumetric efficiency of engine, and then on top of that fine tune with AFR table to desired AFR.


By now AFR table is just targets for corrections

Yes, the AFR table does nothing unless you use 'multiply by ratio of AFR to target AFR' in the VE table or use an ego correction algorithm.

And the multiply by ratio of AFR to target AFR isn't very good by all accounts.
