The throttle body I have has an integral MAP, and this engine will never have VVT. By leaving out the VVT output transistor, i can use its spot on the 24 pin molex connector to make my harness cleaner.

Actually in looking at the schematic, i think i will use the O2 input instead. Edit: ugh. i dunno. i will need that for the wideband when tuning. :(

I still don't understand why you would do that...

Just solder the wire to the input of the onboard map.

You won't have to need around with code changes etc to make it work that way

I think I found my CPS. Its a common mitsubish/dodge/kia/hyundai part. The trigger wheel passes through it. I am assuming my teeth and open space need to be wide enough to reliably turn it on and off.

Here it is in its original home. Any see an issue with me getting a 36-1 trigger wheel to work for this sensor?
