Hi, first time posting if I need to post this somewhere else let me know.

I've got a 04 Thunderbird that I'm swapping a 4.2l SC engine from an 05 Jag S-Type R. Engine is mounted up and mostly together, but it's time to figure put wiring

I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get the two oem computers to talk to each other, and then I came across Speeduino. I'm very new to all of this and am wondering if it would be possible to use speeduino for the project. My main concern is how I would control the 5R55S transmission. All advice is greatly appreciated!

Welcome! :) I think you found the first focus - communication. Before you can consider controlling the various components, how they will communicate with themselves and their partners requires discovery and solutions. This will partially determine what you can use to control them, and if Speeduino is an option for any or all of them. Good luck on the first and sometimes largest challenge! 8-)
