I'm confused about all the versions out there, so can use some assistance sifting through the options:
Goal is to get a Ford 4.6L 32V motor up and running. Will be mostly stock, but not using the MAF. Will use the existing coil packs (wasted spark setup).
Which of the many Speeduino variants can I use for this? I expect I'd need 4 ignition outputs, but how many injector outputs do I need?
And which of these are available now either ready assembled or as a kit? I guess I could source parts, but looking to be running sooner rather than later and taking time off near the end of this year to work on this.

where are you? Then sellers can be recommended for the same continent.

so, 4+4 channels means you will have wasted spark, and paired injectors.

I'm in the US.
Unclear on how/when the injectors fire on each complete cycle... is 4 channels enough? IOW, is "paired injectors" as you mention, workable for this? Or would I need 8 injector outputs for 8 cylinders?

8 injectors "paired" on 4 channels and 2 squirts is the standard setup, somewhat analogous to wasted spark.
A UA4C from Wtmtronics would be my recommendation.
