The others have explained it, but again, no. The number of injection events divides the amount of fuel required ("Req_fuel"), so 2-squirts injects half the fuel on each injection as a 1-squirt setup would. However, the primary reason I jumped-in here was to ask about your build. I know 42 PPH injectors was only an example, but a 2.8L V6 using only 85% flow capacity and properly tuned would generate around 430 horsepower. Even the very expensive Cosworth 2.8 twin-turbos didn't quite get there, so I'm curious...

PS: You can see I did injector sizing-to-estimated HP calculations to get that number, and with conservative values. You can calculate it also, in order to properly size your injectors. Proper injector size is important to a well-running setup. If you're just estimating, you can just use an
online calculator to get an idea of size, with the most common hurdle being realistic power estimation. Neither smaller or bigger than well-sized is good, and you can read the many reasons why in other threads here.
