Hello
i tried to get rpm signal on dist. but nothing got it.It is 3 cable hall sensor.i tried connect signal directly arduino board but nothing got it.
I think i make a mistake on somewhere but dont know.Car is audi 80 2.0 16V same as other vw hall effect distribütör.
Anybody can figure wiring ?

Jumper settings are jp2 halll,jp4 on other open.
I test it with power suply it is 12v.cant figure car wiring diagram.
I tried all 3 wire as signal change polarity.my boards some components not installed but everything is ok about ignition input.just sp721 and ignition out components missing.

If the Hall sensor is 12V it will kill the Arduino input, needs to be 5v or less.

If the Hall is 12V, you can use the 10K pullup jumper if it's active low, the resistor acts like a divider.

It is me sorry for multi account for facebook.
Today i measure multimeter with hall sensor.signal and ground short circuit akk the way.nothing change with turning distributer.i know hall sensor works like seed relay am i wrong?
