Quick question, I putting together a board for JLPCBs Assembly service. Just want to try it out. And, though I think it’s an error, all of a sudden their stock of ATMega2560s went from a whole bunch down to 1 in stock. So that means my board won’t get populated.

They have plenty on the ATmega1280s with the same footprint. So I was wondering if the current code will load and run on the 1280?

Unlikely...

It has half the flash space as the 2560 so likely the code wouldn't fit.

I kinda figured, but I waited a few hours and the stock issue went away, so I ordered a coupe boards with the 2560. Thanks
