I am trying to inject a gm 151 engine.
I adapted a 60-2 cranck wheel with hall sensor, but I have a problem with loss of rotation signal.
I can start, I have idle, but the signal of rotation is varying.
Using the medium filter improves.
I replaced the signal and ground wires for a shielded cable, but it didn't improve. I changed the hall sensor and also did not solve.
Would anyone have any tips?

I tried 0.5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm and it didn't work. I thought the crank wheel had very low teeth and had another one cut with 10mm depth teeth. didn't solve

Not really an expert here. :)

How do the size, of the gaps, compare with the 'active part of the sensor? Just wondering if the wheel is a bit crowded, and it's reading the next tooth before it has finished reading the last one. Though that would be more prominent at high rpm.
Grounds can be an issue, as can emi from coils etc.

Can you clarify what you mean by 'signal of rotation' Do you mean sync loss?

sorry for english because i am using google translator.
I don't think it's the distance between the teeth because I've seen crank wheels very similar to this one.
the sensor area is very small.
In addition, sometimes the reading is correct.
yes i meant sync loss.

The link is to a question I asked about electrical noise. It may help.

I'm in Brazil a few hours earlier than in Europe 😊
I'm sure the problem is interference, So I tried to use a shielded cable in the hall sensor.
my next step will be to separate all the sensor wires from the injector and coil wires.
