If you do need a tacho out.
The 1.6 does not take a tacho feed from the ECU so in v1.0 there is no
provision for that.
Firstly does the tacho not work at all as it is now, as on some 1994
cars the tacho pin on the ECU is actually an input from the coil pack
as feedback.
It can be seen on one of the diagrams here.

It does require a small internal modification and adding of a
resistor.
You need to run a small wire from the pad labelled LS1 on the board to
pin you want to use for tach out.
You'll also nee to add a 1k resistor between that chosen pin and 12v.
Then set the tacho out pin to 49.
